Dracaena - Marginata Bicolor

The spikey-tipped Marginata Bicolor is a fun and easy Dragon Tree variety that adds a pop of color to any space. Native to Madagascar, the foliage of this easy-care tree pops like a paintbrush against its woody stems, with subtle green sword-like leaves edged in bright pink and magenta. 

Light: Although many varieties of Dracaena are adapted to lower light, the Marginata Bicolor fares best in bright, indirect lighting. Low light may result in defoliation and slow growth.

Water: This drought-tolerant tree prefers for its soil to dry out completely between waterings. Plant in a chunky, well-draining soil with amendments such as lava rocks and pumice to make sure that its roots are properly aerated, and water only when the soil dries completely to avoid root rot.

Humidity: Moderate humidity is best for this adaptable variety.
