John Constable is the artist behind this remarkable painting, which portrays a scenic view of Bowleaze Cove, located in Dorset, Southwest England. During his honeymoon in 1816, Constable spent his time in a quaint village near the Cove, and was inspired to create three paintings from this stunning view.In this particular painting, Constable beautifully captures the waves lapping on the beach by using thick strokes of grey and white paint.
