So it is no wonder that everybody got excited for Hedi to finally return to his roots of glamour and luxury, while being treated right by a brand where he could express 100% of his artistry. Besides the similarity to his previous work, that is noticeable with one eye, Hedi did an amazing job introducing himself to Celine for Spring Summer 19, and brought something back we all missed for too long witnessing Saint Laurent sucking out his legacy. For us, the debut proved one thing once again, that Hedi Slimane is the rockstar of the fashion industry that will not stop making skinny jeans and leather jackets cool.
